Family Literacy Resources

We aim to support children residing in Black and African American communities by providing their families with educational resources and support. In addition to our FREE monthly book club, we offer access to student reading assessments, free activities, videos, and more!

Looking for FREE and low cost educational activities to engage your child? Check out Kilgore's Classroom where you can find resources and support for children birth though 12th grade.

Often times we may know that our child is struggling with reading, however we are unsure of how to fix the problem. Student Assessments serve as diagnostic tests that reveal what skill the student is struggling with, allowing for a specific plan to support their journey in reading!

We are currently seeking independent contractors who are interested in selling their services and products on our site. Possible marketplace items include: parenting and birthing classes, tutoring and mentoring services, academic courses and workshops, juvenile and family therapy, books and learning materials, family and community services.
